The Steering Committee recently met and has recommended adoption of the 2024 Mobility Study for Tunkhannock (attached).
The study is an imaginative thought-piece chock full of potential ideas for improving interconnectivity in-and-around Tunkhannock.
The document contains a menu of possible projects that different government or citizen/interest groups could champion and fundraise toward.
The study was developed for Wyoming County by consultants at Hunt Engineering.
The effort was underwritten by a PennDOT grant secured by the Wyoming County Office of Community Planning through the Northern Tier Regional Planning and Development Commission.
(P.S. This project is related to, but separate from, the Riverside Park Master Plan, and other similar projects ongoing).
