Correctional Facility – Programs and Services

The Wyoming County Correctional Facility offers several Programs and Services.

​Inmate Health Services

Wyoming County Correctional Facility provides an array of on–site ambulatory and infirmary health services.

All Inmates processed through the Facility intake area receive medical and mental health screening. Based on the clinical information collected, the Inmate is sent either to the general population or to special medical housing. Medical care shall be provided to each Inmate housed at this facility, regardless of his/her financial standing/account balance.

Medical And Dental Service Fees
The following fees will be assessed for the service provided:
Doctor $5.00
Optometrist $5.00
Dentist $5.00
Nurse $3.00
Prescriptions $5.00

​Behavioral
ABT (A Better Today): The ABT program at the Wyoming County Correctional Facility is open to all Inmates. As a condition set forth during sentencing by the Court, certain Inmates may be required to participate in this program at the Facility prior to their eventual release. These Inmates receive first priority status.


Educational
G.E.D. PROGRAM: The Wyoming County Correctional Facility offers General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)
classes to those Inmates who qualify for the program. This program provides individual tutor services to enrolled Inmates throughout the duration of the course. As a condition set forth during sentencing by the Court, certain Inmates may be required to participate and succeed in the G.E.D. Program at the Facility prior to their eventual release. These Inmates receive first priority status.

Religious
The Wyoming County Correctional Facility is committed to fulfilling its obligation to ensure that Inmates are able to practice their religion as freely as possible consistent with the operational requirements of a correctional institution.
