What This Form Will Do

This form WILL:

✓Change who gets the County Tax Bill and the School Tax Bill (mailed at separate times during the year).✓Update the next mailing if you submit before the print date. If you are close to that date, you may call our office at (570) 996-2262 to confirm.

What This Form May Affect

This form MAY affect:

⚠Your Homestead / Farmstead status — if the property (situs) is no longer your primary residence, your homestead exclusion may need to be removed or transferred. Review the Homestead / Farmstead program and contact our office if you are unsure.

What This Form Does Not Do

This form will NOT:

✗Update names on recorded deeds. Deed name changes are a legal process — please contact an attorney to draft and file those changes with the Recorder of Deeds.✗Change who legally owns the property. This only updates where your tax bills and assessment notices are mailed.✗Update your address with other county offices. Voter registration, the Tax Claim Bureau, and other offices each maintain their own records.✗Change your Clean & Green enrollment. Clean & Green is tied to how the land is used, not where the bill is mailed — see the Clean and Green program page for that paperwork.
