Healthy Family Partnership is a free resource for pregnant women in Wyoming and Sullivan Counties. Our nurses offer advice, support and great information on pregnancy, delivery, and parenting. Our goal is to help every mom have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby and be a GREAT MOM!

Your personal nurse will…
- Share information on things that will make you feel more confident as a mom like feeding options, baby sleep tips, child development milestones and parenting tips.
- Prepare you for your baby’s birth with information on labor, delivery and what to expect before, during and after.
- Connect you to things in the community like healthcare, childcare, job training…and a network of moms just like you!
- Provide a brand new infant car seat safely installed before baby arrives.
- Help you discover your dreams for the future and set goals to reach them.
- Best of all, your nurse will listen to your needs, answer all your questions and support you in your role as a great mom!

Experienced Nurses
With decades of education, training and experience, the Healthy Family Partnership Registered Nurses can guide mothers through the emotional and physical changes they face as they prepare for a healthy birth. So that our Moms have access to the most up-to-date information from trusted sources, our nurses continually expand their knowledge of the latest science in the fields of pregnancy, childbirth, child development and parenting.
Lactation Counselors
Whether breast, bottle, or a combination of both…one of the first and most important decisions you’ll make as a Mom is how to feed your baby. There are many things to consider and our nurses will provide you information on your options so you can decide what works best for your family. Should you choose breastmilk for your baby, our nurses, all Certified Lactation Counselors, will support you and your baby throughout your journey.
Car Seat Specialists
Car accidents are a leading cause of injury and death for children. As Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, we know how important it is to have your new little bundle (and their older siblings) buckled in safely on every ride. That’s why we give every Healthy Family Partnership mother a brand new infant carrier car seat and safely install it before baby’s birth. That’s one less thing to worry about as you get ready for baby’s arrival!
Moms!
Sure we’re all these things but we’re also Moms…and grandmas! We remember the excitement and anticipation of pregnancy but also the worry about what to expect during childbirth. We remember the joy and wonder of looking into the eyes of our newborn for the first time, but also the feelings of uncertainty around caring for this new little person. We’ve all been there…the highs, and yes, the lows. And we are here to share what we’ve learned along the way to help smooth the road for your journey. Welcome to the Mom Club! We’re glad you’re here!
