Wyoming County Children & Youth

Wyoming County Human Services assures that children are protected and live free from abuse and neglect and are given the opportunity to grow and develop to their fullest potential through the active use of family and community strengths and resources.

Wyoming County Children & Youth Services investigates an allegation that children (0-18) are being abused, physically, sexually, or emotionally, and/or their basic needs are being neglected.  Anyone can report child abuse.  Your confidentiality is protected by law.  To make a report of suspected abuse call (570) 836-3131 or the State hotline at 1-800-932-0313, both are available 24/7.  Families can resolve the problems that led to the abuse, children can heal emotionally and physically with the help of Children and Youth.  With everyone’s help, we can prevent child abuse together.
