Treasurer

Duties of the County Treasurer (elected) include receipts, custody, and disbursement of all county monies.  The office pays all bills on the order of the Commissioners and records and submits to the auditors at the end of each fiscal year for each month throughout that year.  As an agent for the State, the treasurer also issues dog, hunting, and fishing licenses, boat launch permit, bingo license, small games of chance license, and sportsman firearm permits.
