Comprehensive Plan

PA Municipalities Planning Code defines a “County Comprehensive Plan” as land use and growth management plan prepared by the county planning commission and adopted by the county commissioners which establishes broad goals and criteria for municipalities to use in the preparation of their comprehensive plan and land use regulation.

The Comprehensive Plan for Wyoming County was adopted on November 18, 1997. Currently, the Wyoming County Office of Community Planning is working together with The Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce, The Institute for Public Policy & Economic Development, and Urban Research & Development Corporation to update the Plan.
